Boil two cups of water and steep the green tea bags for 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the watermelon juice: Place chunks of fresh watermelon in the carafe of a blender and process until liquefied. Strain to remove pulp.

Combine brewed tea, 2 cups of watermelon juice, and the juice of one lime in a pitcher.

Serve watermelon tea over ice; garnish with mint or lemon balm leaves if desired.
Notes
If you don't have a fresh lime on hand, bottled lime juice is fine; use about a tablespoon.
Instead of using green tea, try brewing up a batch of mint tea to use in this recipe for a different flavor.
If you have excess watermelon juice, you can serve it alone as a drink, of course, but you can also freeze the juice into cubes for serving this tea recipe. Or add them to smoothies.
