Measure all ingredients into a small bowl. Stir to combine.
1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 1/2 teaspoon dried chives, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried onion bits, 3/8 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Transfer dip to the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
Using fresh herbs instead of dried is perfectly fine. Dried herbs are more concentrated, so you'll use more if you opt for fresh; use triple the amount given for dried.
If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you can alter this easy salad dressing by eliminating the buttermilk and using 3/4 cup each of sour cream and mayo. Consider adding 1-3 teaspoons of lemon juice to this, to give it a bit of tang.
